matthew wheeler | branch manager

In April of 2023, Matthew came aboard our Birmingham branch as a technician. Matthew’s work ethic, record setting performance, and ability to lead and mentor his peers earned him the Senior Technician role within the company. Amassing over 40 truck sales between then & October, he was chosen to be our next Field Sales Manager. Under his leadership & coaching, his team brought in an eye-popping 800+ gross sales during the branch’s next campaign. 

Hailing from Texas, Matthew has a background in commercial construction. After finding a career with Weed Man & meeting his fiancé in the Birmingham area he has decided to put down roots in Alabama. When the founding Branch Manager Joe decided to return to the group’s headquarters in Maryland/Virginia, Matthew was picked as the obvious choice to lead Birmingham to further success. 

In his free time, Matthew enjoys spending time with his fiancé and their two rescue dogs. Matthew also enjoys finding new spots around town to explore and never meets a stranger. His passion for helping people extends past his work at Weed Man Birmingham and he volunteers his time regularly to helping those in need, neighbors, friends, family, and complete strangers alike.  

Not satisfied with the status quo, Matthew looks forward to leading his team to greater heights & continuing to provide Birmingham’s customers with lawns that are the envy of the neighborhood. 

christian bryant | senior technician

Christian joined our branch in the late Spring of 2024 & immediately impressed. With other technicians being considered for the role of Senior Technician already in place, Christian quickly entered the conversation & rose above them all by mid-summer. His high standard for the product on the lawn, top-tier customer service, & attention to detail continues to raise the bar for the entire department.

A retired Marine, firearm instructor, & salesperson, Christian brings a wealth of varied experience to our branch. He has dedicated himself to learning all the ins & outs of how we do business so he can continue to be a leader & mentor for his teammates. In addition to this he also holds the title of top selling technician.

A Sylacauga native, Christian enjoys spending his time with his wife Erica & their two cats. He is an active member of his church, being both a youth mentor & musician in their worship band. The sky is the limit for Christian & we look forward to him playing a big role in taking this branch to new heights!
